Parent/Student Handbooks and Annual Parent Notifications
At the beginning of each school year, a revised student handbook is prepared for each school site. Handbooks provide essential information on school office hours, district calendar for the school year, health information, transportation, attendance policies and practices, discipline information, parent involvement, and dress code.
ANNUAL PARENT NOTIFICATIONS
The Bear Valley Unified School District provides Annual Parent Notifications, in accordance with California Education Code section 48980, at the beginning of the first semester or quarter of the regular school term, the governing board of each school district must notify parents/guardians of their rights or responsibilities under certain provisions of the Education Code. Other provisions of California and United States law also require notification of parents/guardians.
A copy of the Annual Parent Notifications will be provided to you at your child's school site or the district upon request, and is posted on every school site in a prominent location and on this web page. A copy of the current Annual Parent Notifications is provided below in both English and Spanish.
