Dear Bear Valley Unified School District Community,

Welcome to Bear Valley Unified School District. It truly is the honor of a lifetime to serve as Superintendent of Schools for Bear Valley Unified. I am humbled by this opportunity. My journey with this extraordinary district spans over 24 years, during which I have had the privilege of serving as a parent, instructional aide, teacher, principal, and now superintendent. Each role has deepened my appreciation and commitment to our students, staff, and community. 

Throughout the years, I have witnessed the remarkable dedication of our educators, the resilience and curiosity of our students, and the unwavering support of our families. These experiences have shaped my vision and passion for education, and I am honored to lead our district as we strive for excellence together.

My focus as superintendent is clear: to “educate, inspire, and prepare” our students for a bright and successful future. With this mission in mind, I am dedicated to fostering an environment where every student can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Educate: Our goal is to provide a high-quality education that equips our students with the knowledge and skills they need to succeed. We will continue to prioritize innovative teaching methods, integrate advanced technology, and ensure a rigorous and engaging curriculum that meets the diverse needs of all learners.

Inspire: Inspiration is key to unlocking the potential within each student. We are committed to creating a supportive and motivating atmosphere where students are encouraged to explore their passions, think critically, and pursue their dreams. By celebrating achievements and embracing challenges, we aim to inspire a lifelong love of learning.

Prepare: Preparation for the future is at the heart of our mission. We strive to equip our students with the tools and experiences necessary to navigate an ever-changing world. This includes not only academic excellence but also the development of essential life skills, such as resilience, collaboration, and problem-solving.

I firmly believe that strong schools are built on strong relationships. Your involvement and support are crucial to our success, and I encourage open communication and collaboration with our students, staff, parents, local businesses, and community organizations.
